As I was reading this month’s Lawyer’s Weekly, there was one article that stood out to me entitled “For Members of the bar, reputation is everything.” The article was written by Judge Edward M. Ginsburg, a retired judge of the Probate and Family Court. Judge Ginsburg taught two of my classes in Law School.

Most of America watches weekly episodes of their favorite law dramas such as SUITS, Law and Order SVU and the new How to Get Away With Murder. Most episodes involve a trial with two zealous advocates and the good guy always wins. The trial on TV lasts around 15-20 minutes - you don’t see the attorney prepare, and the judge or jury always makes the final decision.
